I was born in Dar-es-salaam, Tanzania, then left home when I was 16 to go to a boarding school in Bangalore, India, for 2 years, after which I came to Vancouver, Canada and have been here ever since!

I was born in Seoul, South Korea and lived there with my family until I was 5 years old.

My family and I immigrated here from South Korea when I was 5 years old. I grew up in Surrey, have been living in Vancouver since I began my undergrad and working in Coquitlam as a secondary science teacher.
