Steve Scott – Beginnings

20020 53A Avenue, Langley City, BC, Canada

I grew up in the heart of Langley, BC. I was happy to live in the same home from birth until I moved out to attend University. Our neighborhood was filled with many children and young families. My memories are full of daily street hockey and hide and seek games. My sister and I were happy to stay outside until we got the nightly yell out the front window from our mother. I attended Nicomekl Elementary and Langley Secondary School. Upon graduation I headed up to Kamloops and what was then the University College of the Cariboo (now Thompson Rivers University) with the priority of playing soccer. At the time my educational goals were not clear but eventually completed my BA and Bed before becoming a teacher in the Kamloops’Thomspon School District.
